Drupal Website Administration & Development
Expected commitment 10-15 hours per week; work from your home office, flexible hours.
We are seeking a special someone to help a socially responsible startup maintain and improve our Drupal website. This ground floor opportunity is the chance to develop a website that’s changing the way citizens connect their ideals to action.
The Drupal Web Administrator is responsible for making platform updates and technology recommendations to JoinACampaign.com and will have influence on the direction of the site. This position is responsible for maintenance and enhancement of company’s web presence, including to build, edit, style and code the site to support organizational goals. The Web Administrator will analyze business processes, work with Executive to design solutions, then architect and deploy solutions to address security, operations, performance, integration, site optimization, design and usability.

Successful Candidate will possess:
• Desire to gain business experience in managing and growing a commercial website.
• Minimum two years web development experience. One year of experience with the Drupal CMS including custom theming, custom module development and Views.
• A moderate level of technical expertise, knowledge of PHP and basic HTML, Drupal 7, site optimization and web development.
• The ability to deliver projects on time, within specification and on budget.
• Commitment to quality, detail oriented.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• A good sense of design, front end design experience.
• Ability to analyze site problems, research issues within the Drupal community and take prompt corrective action.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, computer science, management information systems or related technical field.
•Demonstrated ability to work both independently, and as part of a collaborative team.
• Flexibility to work some evenings or weekends.
• Valid Washington driver’s license.
A satisfactory outcome from a criminal background check will be required prior to engagement.
