Celebrate and remember Mike Keran: The Seattle Drupal community (and the Drupal community at large) recently lost a valuable member, Mike Keran. His intelligence, dedication, and spirit will be sorely missed. We will celebrate his life and his contributions to our group, and to open source software, with stories and tributes—and pizza and beer.
Site demo and discussion: Fuse IQ will demo their latest Drupal 8 site, for YWCA of Seattle. This process started in 2015 with a technical assessment of their systems and lead to the launch of their new site this past December. We will talk about the design process and features such as the program finder, locations, and of course, use of paragraphs. This is also an example of senior members of the Drupal community sharing their knowledge with newer ones, embracing the spirit of Mike Keran and his contributions to SeaDUG and beyond.
