As the lead developer for the Partner Program you will be a major contributor to all partner projects. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to; overseeing the architecture, development and maintenance of all partner projects. You will work with internal and external developers, architects’, quality assurance teams and Project Managers to insure all projects are carried out according to best practices. This position will require someone with great customer relation skills, a wide range in technical program knowledge and the ability to create and push standards and best practices. This position also requires you to carry out our Christian organization's mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly chapel, and regular prayer.
2. Serve as the lead developer in the Partner Program for multiple web application and service development projects.
3. Serve as major contributor in the technical architecture, plan and development for all Partner Program initiatives.
4. Contribute to the documentation of standards, best practices and governance.
5. Perform code reviews for all projects going through the Partner Program.
6. Work with augmented staff when needed.
7. Perform other duties that may be in the best interest of the Partner Program as assigned
8. Work collaboratively with the team to build up and continuously improve the Partner Program
9. Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of WVUS intranet and other corporate communication tools.
Required Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years). Work experience in internet software development or related field; 7-10 years. Expert in at least one area of Drupal and familiar with a variety of programming languages.
